In September 2000, retired U.S. Air Force Colonel Ross Dedrickson testified that while serving in the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission in 1952, he saw nine UFOs fly over Washington D.C. and on at least two occassions -- extraterrestrials destroyed nuclear weapons headed out to space, one heading to the Moon to be detonated for tests.

About DN/NY
New York, Dec 8, 2001 - CSETI volunteers who assisted with Dr. Steven Greer's Disclosure Project event on October 26, 2001 have formed a New York Disclosure chapter. CSETI or The Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence is Dr. Greer's organization that works to initiate contact with ETs (CSETI, P.O. Box 15401, Ashville, NC, 28813).
In an effort to document the cover-up of UFOs for the past 50 years, the Disclosure Project has taken over 400 hours of videotaped testimony of military, intelligence, government, corporate, scientific, pilot and FAA witnesses who have been first-hand observers of UFO activity.
The first meeting of the New York chapter was held on Saturday, December 8, 2001. Those present voted to name the group Disclosure Network/New York (DN/NY). Members who attended the first meeting discussed a plan to show the CSETI News Conference tape aired in April in Washington, D.C.
In January 2002, the Disclosure Project launched a Disclosure Representative Program for grass roots supporters to produce their own Disclosure events. According to Disclosure Project Operations Manager Paul Crawford, there are now 75 grass roots organizations worldwide.
Overview
For the past ten years, Steven Greer's work has:
- provided a very large body of evidence in the form of video-taped testimony of military intelligence, government, corporate, scienfitic, pilot and FAA witnesses who have been first-hand observers of UFO activity.
- answered the question, "are UFO's hostile?" A vast majority of the witnesses who have provided testimony have concluded that alien visitors are not hostile. Evidence suggests that aliens are concerned about the arms race on this planet -- particularly the build-up of nuclear weapons.
- shed light on UFO phenomenon including vitally important free-energy technology that witnesses say has been reverse-engineered from alien crafts that have crashed in New Mexico and other locations over the past fifty years.
- caused members to consider why American companies have contempt for alternative energy sources while foreign companies such as the Royal Dutch/Shell Group of companies has announced an economy based on hyrdogen.
- helped us to question why the recent Reuters announcement about an Irish engineer and his electromechanical device capable of replenishing its own energy source resulted in one news story.
- created a forum for discussions about the future of our planet, responsibility, appropriate leadership by public servants, and the consequences of allowing others to hijack the future.
This newly-formed organization will create local Disclosure events in small venues for public viewing of video-taped testimony and
network with other UFO organization worldwide that have similar goals.
